Rebecca is a qualified naturopath, having completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) at The Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne where she graduated with the award of Most Outstanding Student. She is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA), and has been working in the natural health industry for over eight years.
Rebecca combines her in depth understanding of the human body with her vast knowledge of natural medicine (including herbal medicine, nutrition, flower essences, and iridology) to develop unique and personalized treatment plans for her patients.
Did you know that the word ‘doctor’ comes from the Latin docere – meaning ‘to teach’?
Rebecca is passionate about educating her patients, and practices with the philosophy of doctor as teacher. She strongly believes in the body’s inherent ability to heal, and believes it is the role of health care professionals to act as a catalyst for change, empowering and motivating patients to assume responsibility for their own health.
Food really is medicine, and simple diet and lifestyle strategies form the foundation of all treatment. Rebecca’s warm personality and friendly nature, along with abundant practical and realistic advice, ensures you feel well-informed and in control every step of the way.
Rebecca recently welcomed her first baby, and credits the easy conception and enjoyable pregnancy (after a diagnosis of PCOS) to her own experiences with naturopathic medicine.
“I look forward to helping you uncover just how good you really can feel!”
